Abram Poliakoff started singing with the Ragazzi Boy’s Chorus as a child, where he eventually performed in several operas with the San Francisco Opera Company. He is a recent graduate of USC’s Thornton School of Music in 2013 with a BM in Vocal Arts. There he was privileged to sing with the prestigious Chamber Singers as well as USC’s only all male a cappella group the Trojan Men.
Since then he has performed with Pocket Opera in San Francisco as both a chorus member and as supporting roles. In Los Angeles, Abram currently sings with the L.A. Choral Lab, an innovative chamber choir and educational non-profit, dedicated to funding and performing the works of living composers. He also sings with both Oneonta Church as a section leader and Temple Isaiah for their major holidays.
Abram has a deep passion for teaching voice, guitar, piano, and ukelele at Sierra Madre Music as well as privately. He works to engage all aspects of the mind, heart, and body in his teaching methods. Abram inspires both his students and audiences to value music as a transformative and enriching force in their lives.
